This was a short and easy read of a quick introduction of the art of Jin Shin。 I would have liked to see detailed illustrations of the “Safety Energy Locations,” though there are descriptions, I feel the descriptions alone are inadequate especially since this book is an introduction。 I think a person would be more comfortable in beginning their practice of Jin Shin (based on this book) if diagrams of the SELs were included。 The illustrations and descriptions of the “symptom” part of the book are This was a short and easy read of a quick introduction of the art of Jin Shin。 I would have liked to see detailed illustrations of the “Safety Energy Locations,” though there are descriptions, I feel the descriptions alone are inadequate especially since this book is an introduction。 I think a person would be more comfortable in beginning their practice of Jin Shin (based on this book) if diagrams of the SELs were included。 The illustrations and descriptions of the “symptom” part of the book are pretty and straight-to-the-point。 These would be perfect if the SELs were detailed earlier in the book but because if their absence, the “symptom” diagrams just are detailed enough。 Overall, I am pleased that I took the time to read and look through this book as I had not previously been aware of Jin Shin。 I look forward to reading more on the subject in the future。 。。。more

Wow, I really enjoyed this book! I’ve done yoga over the years but when I first heard about Jin Shin it sounded a little intimidating。 I’m really glad I found this book—it was a really clear and simple introduction and I was able to address the pain in my lower back immediately! 2020 gave me anxiety issues I’ve never had before and I’m so happy to have found this book that I feel like I can just reference and find immediate relief。 Thank you thank you! When I was in massage therapy school I learned the basics of Jin Shin Jyutsu and it was amazing。 I really loved this book, but only gave it 4 stars as the pictures are a little too basic。 I would love to see a detailed picture of each of the 26 Safety Energy Locks in the beginning。 I would also love to see the pictures with the holds show a little more detail so you know exactly where to hold the point。 It would also be helpful to give the reader an idea of ho I really enjoyed reading this book! The instructions are well written/illustrated and the"science" behind it seems to make sense。 I am not sure that you should throw your medications out the window for maladies/conditions like depression, hypertension, etc。 but I doubt that anything in this book will harm anyone。 It's been around for centuries unlike things like chiropractic "medicine" so it is worth a try。 I am in no way endorsing it: use your judgement - read it and make up your own mind。。 As always, I try to find a reason to not rate with stars as I love emojis (outside of their incessant use by "🙏-ed Social Influencer Millennials/#BachelorNation survivors/Tik-Tok and YouTube Millionaires/etc。 " on Instagram and Twitter。。。 Get a real job, people!) so let's give it 🍣🍣🍣🍣 。。。more
